On the edge of the Embrun rock, between Lake Serre-Ponçon and the Hautes-Alpes mountains, Les Capucins produces solo and group exhibitions and supports research and creative residencies. The programme is designed as a network with other art venues and in dialogue with local stakeholders, reflecting the issues facing society. Exhibitions are conceived in situ, produced to suit the location and in line with the history and specific characteristics of a rural and mid-mountain setting.

Le peuple des Pyjamas au pays des coquillettes

Benoît Piéron invites five artists with whom he shares themes, mediums and intuitions - the question of productivity, a feminist methodology and attention to gender issues, a gentle approach to heartbreaking stories - creating an emotional constellation of friends, sometimes assistants, present, or departed.
