The Plein Sud network was created in Spring 2020 with the aim of promoting the exceptional wealth of art on offer in the South of France. It reflects the united spirit of more than 70 venues dedicated to the visual arts and located throughout the Mediterranean region.

Following on from the Plein Sud guide, 100,000 copies of which are distributed every summer in the Occitanie and Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur regions, this website offers a year-round immersion in the experience of contemporary art throughout the South of France.

Pleinsud.art will take you to a wide range of artistic programmes, remarkable landscapes and architecture, in the heart of the major cities of the south (Avignon, Montpellier, Marseille and Nice), the legendary villages and ports of Provence (Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Toulon-Hyères, Vallauris...), on islands with protected environments (Iles du Levant, Porquerolles) or in the mountains (Digne-les-Bains and Embrun).
